Les Brown states, “Only 2% percent of the population knows that you must believe you can live your dream — to see that dream in your life!
When your desires are different from your beliefs, you will always manifest what you believe!
Make up your mind RIGHT NOW to develop a new belief every day – to develop yourself every day. Make up your mind — there's nothing as powerful as a "made-up mind"!
Les was born on the floor of an abandoned building with his twin brother. They were adopted by Mamie Brown, single with little education or financial means, but a big heart.
At school he was labeled educationally mentally retarded a stigma that stayed with him, damaging his self-esteem and took years to overcome.
In Les’s determination and persistence searching for ways to help Mamie Brown overcome poverty he moved to Detroit and rented an office with an attorney, he slept on the floor stating that he did not even want a blanket or pallet on the cold, hard floor ... it would keep him motivated to strive.
Les Brown's passion to learn and his hunger to realize greatness in himself and others helped him to achieve greatness in spite of not having formal education or training beyond high school.
Les rose from morning DJ to broadcast manager; from community activist to community leader; from political commentator to three-term legislator.
Now a renowned motivational speaker, author and television personality, Les has risen to national prominence by delivering a high energy message, teaching audiences how to shake off mediocrity and live up to their greatness.
"My mission is to get a message out that will help people become uncomfortable with their mediocrity. A lot of people are content with their discontent. I want to be the catalyst that enables them to see themselves having more and achieving more."
